Learn to SURF
Surfing has been around since the 1940's. The 1950's is when it got to be more popular. There are two types or surfing - short boarding and long boarding. Long boarding is easier because you have a bigger board so that doesn't mean you have to be going as fast and your weight is distributed over a larger area. It is easier to catch waves because you can paddle faster. A long board it is the best way to start just because it is easy. The pro surfers use them in fact do use long boards because you can do big turns and if you're a big wave rider you need a long board. Short boards are like a long board but smaller and they have pointy ends. So you can do more turns and quicker turns on a short board. You can do 360's and stuff like that because it is a bit like skateboarding.
